As an environmentally-conscious artist with a passion for sustainability, my work focuses on revitalizing and reusing materials creatively, highlighting small pieces of the previous life in each project. I reuse canvases, incorporate recycled paper, and repurpose paint and other materials to create abstract, organic scenes. Whether I’m working with unusual left-behind textures or letting slivers of color outside my palate show through, I find inspiration in the happy accidents and idiosyncrasies of reuse.

A repeating theme in my work is connection and disconnection; the disruptions and web of consciousness between bodies, souls, technology, society, and the universe. Any given piece may explore one or all of these relationships. My objective in creating is to excise a construct and transplant it into a context that provokes tension, emotion, and imagination.
